Iona supports sustainable and equitable community development through data analysis, research, project management, policy development and science communication. She organizes the cool roadways partnership to promote cool pavement adoption, and is a key member of the US cool surfaces deployment project to advance the deployment of cost-effective heat mitigation strategies. Iona’s multidisciplinary background in conservation and energy inspires her work.
