Yanik Sterchi

Yanik Sterchi is a professor at the Institute of Humans in Complex Systems at the School of Applied Psychology, University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland. As a member of CASRA, he has been researching various aspects of human factors in airport security for over 10 years and is currently leading a research project focused on human-machine interaction between security officers and automated prohibited items detection systems (APIDS).
