A shoe metal detector and a shoe explosive detector integrated into a single unit for screening

CEIA Samdex integrates a shoe metal detector (SMD) and a shoe explosive detector (SED) into a single unit to screen passengers’ shoes without the need to remove them to undergo x-ray inspection.
Samdex automatically detects, in a few seconds, the presence of metallic and non-metallic threats such as firearms, knives and explosives.
Ease of use and ergonomic design make the screening stress-free. The time required for screening is minimum thanks to the innovative technical solutions adopted, and is no longer necessary to bend down to carry out manual inspection.
Samdex is certified by governmental laboratories (STAC in France and DfT in the UK).
