The company’s flexible, powerful, space-saving EBS integrates robotics and AGVs, allowing for flexible configurations. It is suitable for compact spaces and can be implemented even in challenging environments, such as buildings with low ceilings.
The SmartService 360 portfolio now features a new energy management solution to boost efficiency and sustainability in airport operations. It allows customers to map key energy use metrics, providing transparency on the carbon footprint of an individual bag as it travels through the system, for example.
Siemens Logistics’ fully cloud-based, modular solutions transform airports’ standalone IT systems into collaborative, futureproof platforms that enable seamless integration and optimized performance. The applications enhance efficiency, reduce costs and streamline operations for the long term, and are adaptable to the specific needs of airports of any size.
The new-generation VarioTip offers enhanced baggage handling performance and significantly improved ergonomics and working conditions for ground handling staff. It unloads up to 30 ULDs (approximately 1,200 suitcases) per hour.
